To serve the less fortunate in Desha County and its surrounding areas.
Our Story
The Light Outreach Community Ministry is a non-profit organization that strive to be that helping hand to those in need in our town of Dumas, AR and the surrounding areas. We have provided free clothing, shoes and other necessities to those in need since 2010. We also feed hundreds of families each month. It started with taking an unused, rundown building in our community and bringing it back to life. The Light has gone through many stages to get to where it is today. In 2025, it went through a major renovation project. A few pictures of what it was and what it has become is shown below. The Light Outreach Ministry hopes to be that shining light in these dark times.
